Getting Tanned?

Does summer mean getting tanned?
I think so.

Just this month, I've been into swimming twice already. I don't even know if my fair skin is fair at all. All this swimming got me a more muscular and a little browner [<---- what a word], if not brown at all. But the sad thing is, I still don't know how to swim. Swimming in an Olympic size swimming pool isn't of help at all. I think I really need to have a swimming tutor. How do I look?

Playing Dead.

Am not only up to swimming lately, but jogging busies me too. Well, am not that good a runner, but am doing well. I can jog 4 km straight in just 2 weeks. Slow jogging, though. Mama really was that one who engaged me into running. If it wasn't because of her, maybe the palpitation I feel every (after) summer still continues. I would have been fatter too without any exercise at all. The endorphin make me feel better too. Am even planning to run 10 km by end of 3rd year. What a dream!

Running, or jogging (in my case) makes not only your legs muscular, but also your arms. It tires me when I run with my hands clutched in a jogging position. Before, I thought that if I could have just achieved my rhythm without that arms chest level, I could have felt more ease in running. But seeing the effects of it in the rhythm of my feet, it made me more comfortable.

My running mate... :D

Would you believe if I said that I almost did not want to run in U.P. (University of the Philippines) again? (1) Wouldn't you be traumatized if people saw you fall in the ground while you were jogging? That hecking side canal [it's small and it wasn't wet, don't worry] and the sloping route of the university made me mad. (2) And the pacer I had, oh she made me real tired. 1 km is all the distance I could run with her. (3) Besides, the car we rode in made me uncomfortable. It almost got wrecked because of me. Poor me. Good thing I was saved by the Up Above. Good thing I wasn't lambasted by mama. Poor me, really.

My running pacer. She really made me tired.

That's all for my so physical summer now. I've got to be fit because all those food makes me full. Yum! Ciao!
